Primary Accountabilities:
The General Construction Laborer position includes preparing job sites, ensuring safe work conditions, transporting materials, using power tools and other equipment, building temporary structures, and job site cleanup.

Major Duties:

• Prepare job sites for construction activities.
• Ensure safe working conditions are always maintained.
• Transport materials to and from job sites.
• Use power tools and other equipment necessary for construction tasks.
• Build temporary structures as needed for construction projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the job site, performing cleanup activities as required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be willing to work extended and varied shifts as required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing and able to work in all seasons and conditions throughout the year.
• Ability to lift items that are 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
• May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
• Must be able to climb stairs, lift. bend, kneel frequently and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces, work with heights.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment tests (drug screen, Physical Capabilities Profile assessment and background check).
