Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Ab Initio Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL solutions using the Ab Initio platform. This role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data pipelines and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Co>Operating System).

• Analyze complex data requirements and build scalable, high-performance data workflows.

• Perform unit testing, system integration, and performance tuning of ETL processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing ETL jobs and workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with enterprise standards.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio GDE, EME, and Co>Operating System.

• Proficiency in ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing.

• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting Ab Initio jobs.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Teradata, DB2).

• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, etc.) is a plus.

• Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M).

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
