The Compensation Specialist will:
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to benchmark salaries and ensure competitive pay structures.
Administer and maintain base pay, incentive programs, and salary structures.
Conduct job evaluations to ensure accurate classifications and internal equity.
Under the guidance of the Compensation/Benefit Manager, collaborate with HR to develop salary recommendations for new hires, promotions, and adjustments.
Generate reports and provide compensation data insights to Compensation/Benefits Manager and HR.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OFFCP requirements, FLSA, pay equity laws).
Support the annual budget salary review and merit increase processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve compensation-related inquiries from HR.
Coordinate with the Compensation/Benefits Manager on complex pay decisions and special projects.
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in compensation or a related HR role.
Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
Understanding of compensation principles and job evaluation methods.
Familiarity with federal and state pay regulations (e.g., FLSA).
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification.
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday).
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Experience supporting compensation programs in a complex manufacturing environment.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under deadlines.
