TITLE:  Director of Training and L&D
INDUSTRY:  Biotechnology/Medical Science
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX 
COMPENSATION: Depends on experience 
RELOCATION: Local candidates preferred
 
NEW ROLE due to growth! Rapidly growing company is looking for a Director of Training and L&D to design, develop, implement, and run a global Training and L&D department to support the company’s business units.

 

SUMMARY:
- Design, develop, implement, and run a variety of global Training and L&D strategies/initiatives to support the company’s mission 
- Lead a small Training and L&D team 
- Reports to the VP of HR
- Will work closely with key business leaders

 

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 years of experience in Training and/or Learning and Development
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Expertise in regulatory compliance training, including OSHA and HIPAA, strongly preferred
- Experience with LMS management, including implementation of new systems, is required
- Some experience in regulated industries such as biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical sciences or FDA environments is a plus    
- Bachelor's degree
