COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER
Family Owned, Award Willing Commercial Electrical Contractor based in southern Metro is currently seeking a self-motivated Commercial Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to join our experienced team. Candidates should have extensive experience in project management and estimating commercial electrical systems and using Auto-Cad software to complete detailed drawings and plans. This position also combines electrical estimating with project management of small to large commercial electrical projects.
· Duties include:
- Meet with clients to understand Owner needs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Track project performance
- Estimating, purchasing, forecasting and close-out of electrical contracting projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with Owners and General Contractors
- Attend job meetings
- Attend training and networking opportunities as seen fit by company
Desired Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in electrical construction
- Time management and analytical skills
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Experience in Design/Build Construction and Estimating preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Job Requirements:
· 3 years’ experience min. in Commercial Electrical Applications
· Ability to project management multiple projects of varying size and type
· Demonstrable estimating skills and historical knowledge of Electrical estimating/print reading
· Expertise in estimating software
· Ability to work alone and with teams - providing outstanding customer service and client relations
· Valid MN Driver’s License
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
