Responsibilities:
· Reaching out to and visiting existing neighborhood institutions.
· Ability to build relationships.
· Continuous learning about the needs of community members related to social and emotional well-being of children, parents, and families.
· Develop and provide workshops and programming geared toward meeting identified needs.
· Ability to create and hold workshops and programming.
· Connect community members to JPA student interns who staff community-based therapy centers.
· Provide therapy and therapeutic support to children and families.
Qualifications:
· Minimum four years’ experience in mental health or a related field.
· Spanish speaking abilities are preferred but is not required.
· Medicaid experience is preferred but is not required.
· Ability to split time between different communities in the Chicagoland area.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
