What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Associate I position at Hrd Aero Systems Inc?

We service aviation safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, oxygen systems, and inflatables as well as outright PMA Part sales that make peoples lives safer. We currently seek a Parts Associate I at our Valencia, CA facility. This position is responsible for ensuring inventory is accurate and well-kept.
The duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Retrieve parts listed on pick tickets
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked
- Record information using computer
- Build kits as required
- Communicate to parts reserver when reserved parts are not in stock
- Carry out duties in accordance with the QCM/RSM manual
- Maintain working area in an organized and neat condition
- Observe and follow all safety rules and policies
The minimum requirements include:
- One year previous stockroom or relative experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Able to perform basic math calculations
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience with document control
- Ability to multitask
