HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Location: Tallahassee, FL
As the HR/Talent Acquisition Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting the Talent Acquisition Team for all recruitment and employment initiatives supporting all positions within Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH).
The HR/Talent Acquisition Trainee is responsible for:
- Learns key processes, roles, and functions within the Center for Healthcare Careers working alongside experienced human resources (HR) professionals; trains to supports talent acquisition activities and colleague onboarding processes.
- Partners with an HR/Talent Acquisition Spec (JC: 241002) or HR/Sr Talent Acquisition Spec (JC: 246802) to learn to negotiate salary, incentives, terms, and conditions of employment with candidates in accordance with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) policies and procedures.
- Learns to assist with sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new external and internal hires.
- Responds to candidates and stakeholders timely and professionally.
- Enters data, manages records, and files documents.
- Reviews all personnel forms for completeness, accuracy, timing, and policy guidelines conformity.
- Supports various on- and off-site HR and recruitment initiatives and events.
- Demonstrates an understanding of diversity.

- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency).
- Completed first (1st) year of and enrolled in the second (2nd) year (or later) of a bachelor’s degree program in HR, organizational leadership/psychology, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- One (1) year of experience working in healthcare recruitment, HR, customer service, or a related field
