Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Bakery Production Specialist to be a key part of our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking, a wide variety of baked goods, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Operate baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, with precision and care.
• Bake a variety of items, including bread, pastries, cakes, pies and cookies, following established recipes and techniques.
• Assemble baked goods, ensuring visually appealing and consistent results.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and food handling practices.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet customer demand.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, from scratch recipes, and ingredient handling.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work early mornings, Saturdays, and some holidays.
• A positive attitude, teamwork, and a passion for baking are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
