Job Title: Carryout/Carts Team Member
Primary role is to assist guests in the in-store check-out process, assist them in taking their items to their vehicle, assist guests with loading their purchases and also oversee the parking areas and making sure that carts available to our guests.
Main duties include getting carts in the parking lot, handling returns to the departments, collecting the store's recyclable products, helping with carryout and stocking the coolers.
Does not require a high school diploma, or its equivalent but some experience in the field or in a related area is preferred. Typically, would have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Works under immediate supervision of supervisor or manager and must rely on instructions. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Abides by pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving the customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
Load product for guests
Retrieve carts from parking lot in all types of weather
Walking returns back to departments
Retrieving recyclables from offices by pushing cart and dumping recyclable material.
Bag items carefully
Greet guests when entering or leaving establishment
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Bag, box or wrap packages
Pleasantly deal with guests to ensure satisfaction
