About the position: We are Looking for a highly motivated and passionate Director of Marketing with a record of strategically defining and executing a multi-faceted marketing campaign. Candidate must possess the skills to lead a team as well as selecting and directing outside vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven 10 year track record of success in growing customer acquisition and customer retention. The Director of Marketing oversees the marketing of Hartville Kitchen, Hartville Marketplace, and Go and Glow.
Essential Responsibilities:
Define and plan annual, strategically driven, integrated marketing campaign calendar and budget.
Analyze seasonal promotions and events, historical success, vendor support and integration, new opportunities, etc.
Oversee and lead the marketing team members at the defined organizations to maximize the advertising spend and promotions in order to maximize our ROI.
Lead all Brick-and-Mortar advertising efforts in the defined organizations such as but not limited to print, radio, television, social media, and events.
Consider and recommend tactical execution achieving targeted reach in core and opportunity segments with consideration to vendor partnership target penetration.
Provide ongoing program management and communications throughout the year.
When planning and negotiating marketing campaign tactics, consider 1) vendors; 2) targeting criteria; 3) brand guidelines; 4) approval process.
Work with company leadership in order to provide the highest quality marketing services to the leadership team.
Lead production:
External - Media: Broadcast, Digital, Printing, Photography, Video
Internal – Copy Writing, Creative Concept through Execution, Specifications, Resourcing, Traffic
Audit media and supplier contracts to confirm support documentation and approve the process for payment.
Plan, resource, communicate and manage internal and external participants for events.
Assist with the creative direction for campaign assets, defining assets needed, production timeline and traffic to final destinations.
Assist in defining content calendar, social influencers, metrics and general direction to ensure social platforms integrate with campaign goals and objectives.
Serve as a Marketing subject matter expert and stay on top of emerging trends.
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
