Job Summary:
Hartville Hardware is seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Cabinet Sales & Design to focus on cabinet sales, specifically serving contractors and builders. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships within the construction industry to drive sales of high-quality cabinetry solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cabinetry, home construction, and project management, with a proven ability to generate and close sales in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand relationships with contractors, builders, and remodelers to generate cabinet sales opportunities.
- Conduct on-site consultations to understand project needs and recommend tailored cabinetry solutions.
- Provide detailed product information, quotes, and estimates to ensure accurate project planning.
- Work closely with the design and purchasing teams to coordinate orders and ensure timely project completion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new cabinet product offerings, and competitor activity.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales progress, and project details
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, or building materials.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, cabinetry installation, and contractor needs.
- Ability to read blueprints, design layouts, and understand construction specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular client visits and job site meetings.
