Position Summary
The Project Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales team in the Appliances, Flooring, Kitchen & Bath, Doors, Windows, and Building Materials departments. This role focuses on driving sales, managing team performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service in project-based sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home improvement products, team leadership, and sales strategy, ensuring that customers receive expert guidance and support throughout their purchasing journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Supervise, train, and mentor the Project Sales Team across multiple departments.
- Set sales goals and monitor individual and team performance to ensure targets are met.
- Conduct regular coaching and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Foster a positive and customer-focused work environment that aligns with company values.
Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Assist customers with large-scale home improvement projects, providing expert recommendations on appliances, flooring, countertops, doors, windows, and decks.
- Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Oversee special orders and ensure timely follow-up with customers regarding order status and delivery.
- Work closely with contractors, builders, and homeowners to provide quotes, product recommendations, and project guidance.
Operational & Merchandising Responsibilities:
- Ensure sales areas are well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to set up promotions, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing teams to maintain adequate stock.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to stay updated on new products, trends, and best practices.
- Problem solve customer issues
Strategy & Performance Management:
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in setting pricing structures and promotional strategies to remain competitive.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years of experience in retail sales, project sales, or home improvement industry.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of appliances, flooring, countertops, doors, windows, and decks.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and engage with customers for extended periods.
- Comfortable with some lifting and moving of products or displays as needed.
Availability Requirements

Must be available to work one evening until 7pm and most Saturdays.
- Store Hours are Monday-Friday 6am-7pm and Saturday 7am-5pm
