Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement our preconstruction process, including strategies, budgets, and schedules.
- Review and approve all preconstruction deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Partner with clients, architects, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the preconstruction process.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead presentations and proposals for new business opportunities.
- Participate in the negotiation and awarding of contracts, ensuring that all aspects are in line with company standards and client expectations.
- Negotiate contracts and scopes of work in collaboration with the legal and project teams.
- 10 years experience in Preconstruction, Estimating, Engineering, and/or Architecture with a focus on multi-family residential construction – preferably also with tax credit housing.
- Strong knowledge of multi-family building systems, construction methods, and codes.
- Proven success in managing large-scale, complex multi-family projects through preconstruction phases.
- Proficiency in estimating software, scheduling tools, and construction management systems (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Exceptional written and communication skills.
