MATERIAL HANDLER
Contract : 4-6 weeks (possible extension)
Compensation : $21 / hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (no weekends)
Onboarding Requirements : Background check and drug screening
Job Summary
The Material Handler supports internal and external customers by ensuring accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. This role involves operating material handling equipment and performing tasks such as receiving, running production lines, and shipping at the assigned operations facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Note : Other duties may be assigned as needed.)
- Material Handling :
- Locate and pull materials / supplies as per production or sales orders.
- Stock production areas to maintain inventory levels.
- Verify parts and quantities accurately and complete Bills of Lading (BOLs) for receiving or shipping.
- Equipment Operation :
- Operate all assigned material handling equipment (e.g., stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, combis, tuggers).
- Workplace Safety and Cleanliness :
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety procedures and 6S standards.
- Operate material support equipment safely and efficiently.
