Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is looking for a Paralegal and Legal Assistant with 2 years of experience to join their client’s team. The selected candidate will work on-site at 28 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10005, within the Office of the Attorney General for the New York State Government.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with various tasks related to case preparation, legal research, and documentation.
- Review, analyze, and organize legal, financial, and other related documents to ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy.
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, notices, memos, and other official documents.
- Manage and maintain case files, records, and legal databases, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and other departments to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
- Assist in preparing hearings, trials, and depositions by organizing and preparing necessary documents and exhibits.
