Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Specialist with a background in Solutions Architecture to support a critical project for our client in Suitland, MD. This position is pivotal in designing and integrating the technology infrastructure for a high-profile mission. As a Senior Integration Specialist, you will help ensure seamless, efficient, and secure integration of all components within the 26CT systems, supporting nationwide data collection for the 2030 Decennial Census.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate comprehensive data collection utilizing cloud computing, mobile technology, and data analytics.
- Support nationwide field operations to reach hard-to-access populations.
- Leveraging modern technologies that reduce complexity and enable scalable solutions to meet operational demands can drive improvements in government efficiency.
- Lead the design and integration of mobile device solutions, field IT infrastructure, and identity management systems for nationwide data collection.
- Develop and implement an integrated operations center and help desk system to monitor and manage census operations in real time.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: As a Senior Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the command centers that monitor and manage Census operations in real-time. The following skills and experience are essential for success in this role:
- System Design & Architecture: Deep expertise in designing large-scale, complex systems and architectures, including cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid solutions.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including services like computing, storage, networking, databases, and serverless computing.
- Application Architecture: Knowledge of microservices, monolithic, event-driven architectures, and API design (REST, GraphQL).
- Infrastructure & Networking: Proficiency in network design, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, and security protocols.
- DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Data Management: Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
