HSAGP (Hyundai-SK America Green power) Energy LLC. is Hyundai Motor Group and SK On' s joint venture company to produce batteries for electric vehicle batteries. The joint venture plans to invest $5 billion to build an EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia. Hyundai Motor Group and SK On will each hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture. The new plant created by the two companies is expected to start manufacturing battery cells in the first half of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 35 GWh, enough to support the production of 300,000 EVs a year. The future Bartow County plant in northwest Georgia is strategically located near Hyundai Motor Group’s existing and planned U.S. facilities. Summary:

Utility (Mechanical) supervisor is responsible for managing various mechanical

facilities and their parts including air compressor, boiler, chiller, clean/dry room

facilities, firefighting facilities, HVAC, and infra. Its main tasks include regular status

check, fueling, replacement, and cleaning. This position is also required to take

appropriate measures when there is any malfunction or damage of facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Air Compressor Facility Maintenance

  • Check and inject compressor motor oil if needed
  • Disassemble and check compressor filters. Replace filter parts if needed
  • Disassemble and cleanse compressor auto drain trap
  • Run test operation of compressor
  • Run test operation of air dryer
  • Disassemble, cleanse, and test Air T/K(PA, IA) drain trap
  • Disassemble and check dryer filters. Replace filter parts if needed

NMP Recovery Facility Maintenance

  • Measure circulating pump vibration coefficient
  • Disassemble and cleanse circulating pump strainer regularly
  • Grease motors
  • Check tracing status before winter for freezing prevention
  • Check operation status of eye shower
  • Replace Fan V-belt

A/C Tower Maintenance

  • Grease A/C towers and air supplying/exhausting fans
  • Replace V-belt of A/C towers and air supplying/exhausting fans

Steam Boiler Facility Maintenance

  • Replace and cleanse the micro-filter of water softener and purifier
  • Disassemble and clean the chemical line
  • Test LNG line instrument and leakage
  • Set(blow-down), disassemble, and clean glass water gauge
  • Test upper/under part of blow-down C/V function
  • Disassemble and maintain condensate pump strainer and heat transmitter
  • Disassemble and maintain DEMI pump strainer and heat transmitter
  • Disassemble and maintain deaerator, boosting pump strainer and heat transmitter
  • Grease and oil pump and run operation test
  • Measure boosting pump vibration coefficient
  • Grease and oil boiler fans and motors
  • Check and maintain heat transmitter and S/T of boiler fans and motors
  • Repair or replace boiler accessories and PG/TG
  • Measure fuel consumption and make adjustment if needed

Hot Oil Boiler Facility Maintenance

  • Test LNG line instrument and leakage
  • Grease and oil pump and run operation test
  • Eliminate air and moisture in the expansion tank
  • Measure hot-oil boiler pump/fan vibration coefficient
  • Grease and oil boiler fans and motors
  • Check and replace v-belt of fan if needed

Chiller Facility Maintenance

  • Run operation test of chiller expansion tank line
  • Disassemble and maintain make-up water strainer
  • Grease chiller cool water pump and remove strains
  • Grease chiller cooling water pump and remove strains
  • Inject chiller C/T (Cooling Tower) decelerator oil and run test operation
  • Grease chiller C/T fan motor and run test operation

BCU/BFU/FFU Maintenance

  • Check BCU differential pressure and replace medium filter
  • Replace BCU pre filter
  • Replace BFU/HFU filter

HVAC facility maintenance

  • Grease HVAC inner fan bearing
  • Check HVAC inner sensors and drainage status
  • Test differential pressure sensor operation
  • Disassemble and cleanse cool/steam/condensate water line strainers
  • Adjust tension of v-belt and replace if needed
  • Replace HVAC filter regularly
  • Replace HVAC air vent and operate air purge
  • Repair and replace HVAC steam trap and PG/TG

EHP, PAC, Air Shower Facility Maintenance

  • Check EHP/PAC operational status, and outdoor unit pressure condition
  • Clean EHP/Package filter
  • Replace Air Shower filter

N2, NG Facility Maintenance

  • Check and replace the meter
  • Supervise PSC Popping test construction

Legal Inspection Management

[All]

  • Deal with regular inspection of government offices
  • Document/keep legal inspection logs and related documents

[Firefighting only]

  • Conduct firefighting drills and related trainings

12) Facility Management

[All]

  • Create and update facility management history
  • Create and update inspection log
  • Clean the facilities and facility room floors

[Boiler only]

  • Supervise pipe cleaning work
  • Prepare and response to the legal inspections including open/in-use inspections

[Chiller only]

  • Purchase and manage inventory of C/T chemicals

[HVAC only]

  • Supervise pipe cleaning work
  • Prepare and response to the legal inspections including open/in-use inspections

Troubleshooting

  • Take appropriate measure when the facility is malfunctioning or damaged
  • Other tasks as necessary to meet the organization's needs

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)

(Preferred) Associate degree in related field

Experience:

Broad knowledge of mechanical utility and tools obtained through work experience

(Preferred) Relevant utility management experience in manufacturing environment

Language skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English

Computer skills:

Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • In the office: Must wear the company-provided uniform
  • In the production site: Must wear the company-provided uniform and PPE including safety shoes, safety helmet (hard hat), safety glasses/safety goggles, portable gas measuring device
  • In the A/C tower: Must wear dust-proof mask
  • When exposed to NMP, hot oil: Additionally wear gas mask, dust-proof mask, chemical resistant clothing

  • Risk of noise: Above 90db in compressor room
  • Risk of high temperature: 104~122°F in boiler room, machine room, vacuum pump room
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials (heating medium oil, NMP, water treatment chemicals (boiler treatment compound, acidity regulator, etc.)) and various kinds of lubricating oils
