Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Drywall Finisher located in Cleveland, OH. The Drywall Finisher will be responsible for applying plasterboard or other wallboards to ceilings or interior walls of buildings and will prepare surfaces for plaster. Day-to-day tasks include framing, carpentry, plastering, and remodeling for both residential and commercial constructions. The role requires performing tasks with precision and maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Driver's License
• Experience in framing and carpentry
• Skills in plastering and remodeling
• Expertise in commercial construction
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks related to drywall finishing
• Previous experience in the drywall or construction industry is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Spot all screws on smooth walls and ceilings three times: screws on textured areas twice.
• Paper tape all angles and flats.
• Perform a good tape bed skim job.
• Sand with a light held sideways on a wall.
• Be familiar with automatic taping tools.
• Remove all tearaway strips.
• Clean up all man trash and dispose of any empty boxes, bags, and mixing boards.
• Pack tubs with Durabond.
• Dig out blowouts in the board, pack with Durabond, and tape.
• Bed all bead and tearaway with Durabond.
