Health Clerk

The role involves facilitating both patient care and clerical activities, which are essential for ensuring efficient patient services. This includes various responsibilities such as entering orders into the system, scheduling same-day and urgent procedures, accurately documenting patient information, and effectively communicating essential data needed to provide quality patient care.

Additionally, the role encompasses managing various healthcare systems, overseeing the assembly and analysis of patient charts, coordinating with healthcare industry representatives for support services, and engaging in customer service and public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations.

A key focus of this position is to ensure the accurate collection and entry of data, which is vital for enhancing patient care and securing timely and precise reimbursement for the services rendered. By maintaining high standards in documentation and communication, this role plays an integral part in supporting overall operational workflows and fostering positive interactions with patients and their families.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous course in medical terminology is desirable.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
