Join Atlantic Automation Company as a Customer Service Intern and help drive innovative support strategies for our distributed products, with a focus on Red Box Tools and Power solutions. Customer Service and Accounts Receivable:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels to provide information about products, quotes, and orders.
- Process customer orders and monitor their status using EDI/web-based systems.
- Ensure order accuracy by cross-referencing details with quotes or price lists.
- Manage customer accounts, including entering sales orders, processing credits, and managing cash-in-advance payments.
- Assist in preparing Proforma invoices for international shipments and gathering NAFTA documentation as required.
- Maintain customer records, including reference sheets, pricing lists, and shipping requirements.
- Provide prompt support to address customer queries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when needed.
Administrative and Cross-functional Support:
- Document and communicate customer requirements to relevant team members.
- Coordinate with sales, quality, and engineering departments to address customer needs.
- Assist with sourcing materials and solutions that meet customer specifications and maintaining related records.
Education and Skills
- Currently pursuing a undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with junior or senior standing preferred, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
