Key Responsibilities
As an ASL Interpreter Consult, you will provide in-person interpreting services for families, facilitating communication between parents/caregivers and early intervention staff. You will also schedule visits for early intervention staff and provide interpreting services for intake, evaluation, and home visits. Your expertise will enable us to deliver exceptional services that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess verbal fluency in both English and the language of the specific population served. Interpreting experience is preferred, as is a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in-person interpreting services. Additionally, you should have an understanding of the interpreter's role in promoting direct communication between providers and parents/caregivers.
