JOB TITLE: Accounts Receivable Clerk
LOCATION: Houston, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but Not Limited To)
- Perform technical accounting tasks, such as account reconciliation and journal entries.
- Strong acumen for ERP systems and payment portals.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Assist with corporate accounting activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including debits and credits.
- Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to accurately input numerical data.
- Demonstrate email and phone etiquette when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Assists with special projects and provides cross-functional support as needed to help other team members and the company overall.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional cadence in email etiquette.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite products.
- Experience with accounts receivable functions, specifically cash application and collections.
- Strong team player.
- Experience working in ERP and lumber experience is a plus.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional regard for their work.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong time management skills.
- Natural curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Not intimidated by social interaction on the phone or in person.
