P&C Client Services Representative
Job Summary :
Build and maintain professional rapport with clients, vendors, and teammates by providing superior internal and external service support. Work as a supportive member of the P&C team.
Reports To : P&C Team Leader
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and texts with questions regarding insurance policy and coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries, by providing accurate, relevant, and concise information, including any supporting documents.
- Process endorsements and payments accurately and promptly.
- Maintain and work a daily task list in our CRM (EZ Lynx) and accurately notate all discussions, interactions, endorsements, and transactions with clients, underwriters, insurance company representatives, and vendors and set appropriate follow up tasks as needed.
- Maintain client files within the EZ Lynx CRM according to agency policies and procedures.
- Process daily mail in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Check policy renewal downloads in EZ Lynx and the daily EZ Lynx email reports, and process according to agency policy and procedures.
- Gather intake information of new clients, including current policy documents and information necessary to provide an accurate assessment of insurance needs.
- Assist with issuing and onboarding new clients and existing clients who have been rewritten, by providing new policy documents, including receipts, declaration pages, ID cards and / or evidence of insurance.
- Assist clients with claim reporting, ongoing claim questions, and resolutions according to agency policies and procedures.
- Escalate issues of increased complexity, according to department standards, to the applicable internal contact.
- Provide input on agency policies and procedures and make suggestions for improvement to enhance our service to our clients.
- Support P&C team in reaching overall agency revenue and retention goals.
- Participate in company sponsored seminars, training workshops, and webinars to enhance industry knowledge and education.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
- Qualifications :
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate strong organizational and project skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Act with responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism in all matters
- Prioritize work to achieve timely completion of the most critical and sensitive activities
- Respond quickly to client requests and work to provide appropriate and accurate information
