Job Title : Data Architect Experience : 10 years

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Azure, Databricks, Master Data Management (MDM), Databricks Warehouse, Data & Delta Lakes, ADLS, and Power BI to design and implement modern cloud-based data architectures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data security, observability, and scalable cloud architectures to support enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and AI / ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities : Data Architecture & Engineering :

Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures on Azure and Databricks.

Architect and optimize Data Lakes and Delta Lakes for efficient data processing and analytics.

Develop and manage Databricks Warehouse for structured and semi-structured data.

Ensure seamless integration of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for data consistency.

Cloud & Data Platform Strategy :

Define cloud-based data architectures leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and ADLS.

Implement data governance, security policies, and access controls across enterprise data assets.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud adoption, optimization, and cost efficiency.

Implement Performance and cost optimizations

Data Security, Compliance & Observability :

Implement data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

Ensure data observability by implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue resolution.

Establish best practices for data lineage, quality, and metadata management.

Reporting & Analytics Enablement :

Enable enterprise-wide reporting and analytics using Power BI and other BI tools.

Optimize data pipelines and queries to support real-time and batch processing for BI and AI models.

Provide guidance on self-service BI adoption and scalable semantic modeling.

Collaboration & Leadership :

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to align data architecture with business goals.

Mentor and lead teams in best practices for data modeling, ETL / ELT design, and cloud deployments.

Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in data architecture and cloud computing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Cloud Solutions.

Expertise in Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Databricks, ADF, and Synapse Analytics.

Strong expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and MDM principles.

Experience with Databricks Warehouse and lakehouse architecture.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing and transformation.

Hands-on experience in data security, access controls, encryption, and compliance.

Experience in data observability tools, logging frameworks, and monitoring solutions.

Expertise in Power BI for data visualization, modeling, and dashboarding.

Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, data governance frameworks, and data pipelines (ETL / ELT).

Experience with CI / CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for data deployments.

Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management.

Strong experience in Kafka, Event Hubs, and streaming architectures.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications : Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks Certified Professional, or equivalent.

Experience with AI / ML model deployments and setting up data science workbench.

Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
