Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges, including mental health issues, addiction, and developmental disabilities. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized care plans, facilitate access to resources, and promote overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling for students.
- Address behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Act as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources.
- Develop and implement intervention and support plans.
- Respond to crises and ensure student safety.
- Collaborate with staff on IEPs, 504 Plans, and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and licensure as per state requirements.
- Experience in schools or working with children preferred.
- Strong communication, crisis management, and cultural competence skills.
