This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the hourly staffing process, including recruiting, screening, and hiring, in alignment with client-specific requirements. By maintaining a strong candidate pool and utilizing creative recruiting strategies, the Industrial Recruiter ensures timely and effective placement of candidates. With excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, the Industrial Recruiter supports both HTI’s clients and internal team objectives.

- Independently manage recruitment processes for all HTI clients.
- Screen applicants based on requirements set by clients and HTI, scheduling them for orientations as needed.
- Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to grow the candidate pool.
- Maintain an active pool of pre-screened candidates who have successfully completed testing, reference checks, and background checks.
- Ensure employee files meet quality standards and HTI’s management guidelines.
- Utilize Bullhorn software to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate and attend job fairs to represent HTI and its clients as needed.
- Collaborate with HTI and client management to meet staffing goals and timelines.
- Troubleshoot client-specific challenges and propose effective resolutions.
- Assist onsite at client locations, providing candidate tours, conducting interviews, and supporting first-day tasks.
- Greet HTI applicants upon arrival, triaging their needs and conducting instant interviews as necessary.
- Manage online applications and incoming phone calls, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates about offers, availability, and client-specific requirements.
- Update applicant files, pool candidates, and working files per HTI guidelines.
- Participate in daily management meetings to review time-to-fill metrics and discuss critical openings with the team.
- Assist the Onboarding Coordinator with conducting orientations and managing related tasks.
- Perform additional team support duties as required, ensuring smooth operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and internet-based applications.
- CSP certification preferred.
- Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred:
- BS/BA degree in a related field.
- 1 year of recruiting experience or HR knowledge.
