What You’ll Do:

• Expert Painting: Prepare, paint, and detail aircraft with precision, ensuring all work meets company, manufacturer, and customer specifications.
• Equipment Use: Utilize tools like dual action sanders, hydraulic lift platforms, and spray paint equipment effectively.
• Surface Prep and Maintenance: Mask, strip, wash, and prepare surfaces, apply primer, and sand aircraft skins for top-coat application.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and collaborate with team members to ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company protocols.
• Troubleshooting and Safety: Identify and address issues proactively, following all safety procedures and using personal protective equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years as an aviation paint technician, with hands-on work using standard equipment such as electrostatic paint guns and HVLP guns.
• Skills: Proficient in buffing and polishing urethanes and acrylic clear coats, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work at heights, lift up to 40 pounds, and endure long periods of standing and repetitive tasks.
• Certifications: Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification and be willing to obtain forklift and scissor lift certification.
• Travel: Occasional travel to domestic King Aerospace sites may be required.
