Strategy is the name of the game for a successful Site Leader at HTI. The Strategic Site Leader is responsible for partnering with our fast-growing client site in Greenville, SC to coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of talent acquisition for both hourly and salaried headcount. The responsibilities of this role also include acting as the liaison between the client and all recruiting partners, including HTI recruiting divisions.
Essential Job Function:
- Serve as onsite business partner to the client, acting as an extension of the client’s HR department, helping to identify and develop process improvements and ensuring consistent service levels.
- Manage and implement strategies to drive employee attraction, engagement, retention, and development.
- Provide oversight and manage the overall RPO partnership on a day-to-day basis, including the assignment of requisitions, RPO staffing and upcoming hiring needs.
- Manage the full life cycle of the recruiting process for open positions.
- Management, administration, and oversight of client HRIS systems (i.e. Workday, Kronos, etc)
- Work with Hiring Managers and client leadership to understand hiring forecasts and translate it into recruitment plans.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of requisitions, effectiveness of delivery, recruitment market insights and strategies to ensure performance metrics are met.
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including phone interviews, assessments, and in-person and/or video interviews.
- Stay current on industry trends and technology to help support continuous recruitment advancements.
- Participate in client update meetings and represents the service to stakeholders as required.
- Work in partnership with recruiting teams to ensure the on and off-site delivery team members successfully provide required services and consistency in execution to the client.
- Establish consultative approach to hiring managers, HR team, and candidates.
- Perform intake calls with hiring managers to assess needs and determine best sourcing strategies to ensure acquisition of the best talent.
- Review and manage offer process for client site to include compensation negotiation, offer letter creation, and offer communication.
- Ability to manage multiple situations effectively while multitasking and maintain a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Act as a liaison with recruiting team and external suppliers to resolve daily operational issues.
- Create, analyze, and review weekly and monthly reports to proactively take action from the data as needed.
- Develop, implement and drive new processes as well as process improvements, as identified.
- Prepare and analyze required material, metrics, reports, etc., for meetings at client and/or HTI. Develop improvements or corrective actions to address non- conformances.
- Schedule and drive monthly metrics review with HTI and client.
- Develop and maintain effective communication and appropriate working relationships at all levels at the client site and HTI as required.
- Timely response, communication and follow-up on emails received, tasks assigned, projects, etc.
- Ensure and maintain appropriate confidentiality of employee, client and HTI information, and any shared data.
- Ability to recognize and present all HTI service lines.
- Able to communicate industry initiatives that can potentially affect HTI or the client, i.e., ACA, FLSA, hiring trends/initiatives, unemployment, etc.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, talent strategy, or other relative experience.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priority of work.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand items or activities that require timely follow-up and communication.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels at the client site, as well as within HTI.
- Travel may be required.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferably BS/BA.
- Previous site management strongly preferred.
- Payroll experience and payroll system experience preferred.
- Experience with MS Word and MS Excel preferred. Must be proficient in use of the Internet.
- Customer service experience required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Human resource experience and/or recruiting experience a plus.
