What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Quality Manager position at HTI?
HTI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager or Quality Engineer with a start-up manufacturing facility in Waynesboro, GA (located just south of Augusta, GA). This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite, salaried position. The company offers fantastic benefits and opportunities for growth. Salary will depend on experience and education, and the range is approximately $78,000 - $85,000 / year.
Requirements :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) is preferred, but not required
- Must have 4 years of recent experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor / Manager, or Senior Quality Technician in a manufacturing / production environment
- Must be able to interpret technical drawings / blueprints, work instructions, plans, diagrams and product specifications
- Experience with measuring tools and quality-related equipment
- Experience with an ISO and / or UL certified company is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and training skills
- Previous training, certifications, and / or experience in quality related problem-solving techniques (SPC, PFMEA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.)
- Six Sigma or ASQ certification is a plus
- Local candidates preferred
Summary :
Will ensure that all finished products meet quality standards, in accordance with internal and customer requirements and specifications. This role will involve heavy time on the production floor training production team members, and conducting quality checks on finished products.
