What You Need :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field preferred)
3-5 years in product development or design engineering, preferably in automotive components
Proficiency in Catia CAD design
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Strong understanding of materials and structural design
What Your Role Will Look Like :
Lead the design and development of drive shafts and half shafts for assigned customers
Manage project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and quality
Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and sustain supplier capabilities
Prepare and review design deliverables with a focus on cost efficiency and customer requirements
Oversee engineering change management, ensuring accurate documentation and approvals
Interpret customer specifications and translate them into optimized product designs
Conduct design verification tests and calculations to meet performance and quality standards
Develop and maintain Design Verification Plans and Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
Create and update Bill of Materials for prototype and production phases
Lead problem-solving efforts to address design and performance concerns
