What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or industrial background preferred)
- Strong cost accounting and financial reporting experience
- ERP proficiency (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
What Your Role Will Look Like:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, and compliance to support the company’s financial health and decision-making. You’ll work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Analyze and track manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, and inventory valuation
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and reconciliations
- Oversee AP/AR functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Assist with customer billing, collections, and credit management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal policies
- Assist in external and internal audits, preparing necessary documentation
- Work closely with plant managers, production teams, and procurement
- Assist with capital expenditure (CapEx) analysis and fixed asset accounting
