DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs assigned tasks under the direction and guidance of the department Lead Hand
Assemble panels under the direction of the Sr. Sheet Metal Operator and/or the department Lead Hand
Install assemblies, such as flashing, wall panels, insulation, and heating & air conditioning ducts in supportive frameworks as instructed
Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.
Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools as directed
Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this position
Minimum of 1 – 3 years sheet metal experience is preferred
Must be able to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truck
Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.
Able to work independently or as a team player
Able to take direction and communicate with others
Have excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented
Employ a friendly, outgoing personality, respectful of co-workers and ability to work with individuals to carry out goals of the organization
