What are the responsibilities and job description for the USA - Shipper/Receiver position at HTS Engineering Ltd.?
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proper and safe packaging of customer items.
Verification of pieces being sent or received.
Doing a bill of lading for shipments and keeping other paperwork neat and organized
Being customer oriented on the phone
Track and organize all inventory
Ensure all product is identified properly with appropriate customer information and documentation
Receiving incoming product utilizing proper documentation
Ensure proper levels of shipping and receiving supplies and packaging are maintained
Keeping the area organized and free of non-needed obstructions.
Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
Ensure all product is shipped on time; notify management of any issues
Ensure all product has been inspected and a dock audit has been performed
Ensure all product is packaged for its safe delivery to the client
Work in a safe manner following Health & Safety policies and procedures
Maintain an excellent attendance & punctuality record
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Possess a suitable combination of education and experience (1-2 years) to meet the requirements of this position
Able to use general, impact, power and air tools and airlines where needed
Able to operate a fork truck and/or lifting device(s)
Have a valid Driver’s License
Have good customer service skills & conflict resolution abilities
Able to listen and communicate effectively – by phone and in person
Have excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.
Required to be self-motivated, enjoys responsibility and accountability, good people skills are a must.
Ability to assess a situation and find the logical answer.
Employ a friendly, outgoing personality, respectful of co-workers and ability to work with individuals to carry out goals of the organization

Perform work standing up in work cell for 8-10 hours per day and up to 6 days a week.
