Hualapai Tribe –Election Board Attorney

Summary
The Hualapai Tribal Council is requesting proposals from recognized law firms and individual attorneys interested in providing legal services for matters involving the Hualapai Election Board.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the Hualapai Tribal Council to select firms and/or individual attorneys and to solicit proposals from various candidates, conduct fair evaluation based on the prescribed criteria, and select the best candidate(s) who is the best fit for the Hualapai Election Board. The Hualapai Tribe reserves the right to award contacts as it sees fit and to the bidder or bidders of its choosing when and how it deems appropriate.
Nature and Scope of Work:
Counsel will be expected to keep the Hualapai Election Board abreast and provide ongoing advice with respect to matters regarding Hualapai Elections and the Hualapai Election Ordinance. The Hualapai Tribal Council is seeking qualified firms or individual attorneys to provide legal services on an as needed basis in the following areas:

The contract will be awarded to the RFP whose proposal conforms to the RFP and is most advantageous to the Hualapai Tribal Council. The Hualapai Tribal Council reserves the right to reject any proposals received. The Hualapai Tribal Council with their authority will award the contract.

- Representation of the Hualapai Election Board in administrative proceedings held in Hualapai Tribal Court.
- Litigation matters and other disputes involving the Hualapai Election Ordinance or Hualapai Election matters.
- Legal advice on matters pertaining to Hualapai elections and related documents in accordance with the Hualapai Election Ordinance, Hualapai Law and Order Code and the Hualapai Constitution.
