We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing and reviewing business tax returns, with a focus on partnerships and corporations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in delivering top-quality client service, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic tax planning advice. This position requires CPA ACOUNTING FIRM / TAX ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE .
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses, including partnerships (Form 1065), S-Corporations (Form 1120S), and C-Corporations (Form 1120).
- Conduct comprehensive tax planning and analysis to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, staying up to date on changes in tax code and regulations.
- Provide strategic tax advice and consultation to clients regarding tax planning, structuring of business entities, and other financial matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for tax-related inquiries.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize the client’s financial position.
- Prepare and review financial statements for business entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate reflection of tax treatments.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide clients with insightful recommendations for tax planning and financial improvement.
- Review work prepared by staff accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and tax standards.
- Collaborate with partners and other senior staff to manage client engagements and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist clients with tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities, and representing clients before tax agencies when necessary.

Salary : up to $105K depending on experience
