Description
Hudson Institute seeks an operations assistant to support essential organizational functions, including managing Hudson’s reception area, planning and preparing meetings, and supporting other operations functions. The position requires an energetic, personable individual interested in the work of a public policy research institution and capable of managing multiple and competing projects and demands. This is a full-time position based out of Hudson’s Washington, DC office reporting to the director of operations.

Responsibilities
- Manages Hudson Institute’s reception area, including greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, receiving and distributing mail, and assisting with public events.
- Acts as lead point-of-contact and organizer for all private Hudson meetings, including calendaring, ordering catering, room set-up, check-in of meeting participants, and coordination of A/V support.
- Provides general administrative assistance to the Institute’s staff, including preparing and sending mailings, conference room setup, and IT queries.
- Manages Hudson’s office supply inventory.
- Assists the operations team with various other projects.

Salary Description
$50,000 - $54,000 per year
