Responsibilities:

Work both the lineup and shop to inspect and repair furniture.

Repair case goods, tables, upholstery, and perform leather refinishing and fabrication.

Read paperwork and manually write required details while also using computers and tablets.

Work independently or with other technicians as assigned.

Ensure timely, high-quality repairs and maintain an organized workspace.

Track and manage shop supplies, reporting any issues to the supervisor/manager.

Communicate effectively with warehouse employees and managers.

Assist with furniture assembly as needed.

Work with chemicals and necessary tools to complete repairs.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of furniture repair experience, 3 years preferred.

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Physically demanding position requiring standing, walking, stooping, and bending for the entire shift.

Strong agility and dexterity to handle intricate repairs.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver heavier furniture with proper equipment or assistance.

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Knowledge of chemicals and tools used in furniture repair.
