Job Overview
Hudson Valley Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue that offers afforable vet services from wellness appointments, surgical procedures, dentals, xrays and much more. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a veterinary clinic setting.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
- Answer high volume phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and client information in the system
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and processing payments
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
Skills
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Experience in animal handling and restraint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic administrative tasks
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
