As a material handler with our organization, you will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the warehouse, and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders. The ideal candidate for the material handler position is a diligent worker who can complete tasks successfully with little to no guidance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production order or pick tasks.
- Maintains in-process inventory by handling materials accurately.
- Document materials and supplies by recording units delivered systematically.
- Receives “returned” materials to count, verify, and return to stock.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, picking, and loading materials securely in-location or on a trailer.
- Document product shipment by verifying and scanning all pallets loaded on the trailer.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-operations inspections and escalating necessary damage or repairs to leadership.
- Daily demonstration of company core values through material handling operations.
- Positive demeanor and dedication to team contribution and cooperation.
