What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Learner ParaProfessional position at Hudsonville Public School District?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 28.75 hours per week
- Potential travel between buildings
- Assist with individual english learner student assessment
- Assist in small or large group student instruction under English Learner teacher direction.
- Tutor english learner students.
- Work with assigned classroom teachers to set up a weekly schedule to assist students.
- Communicate weekly with assigned English Learner teachers on lesson plans and student progress.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings during school hours. Before and after school staff meetings are optional.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- TESOL certification or experience teaching English language learners preferred
- Drivers License and mode of transportation
- Associates degree preferred
- Teacher certified preferred
