Star Shuttle & Charter is hiring an Accounts Receivable Supervisor as a full-time job in San Antonio, Texas.
As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, and collections. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate and timely processing of AR transactions. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will report to the CFO and collaborate with various teams to achieve financial goals.
As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, your key responsibilities are:
- Invoicing & Billing
- Generate and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure all billing aligns with contract terms and customer agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
- Cash Application & Reconciliation
- Process and apply customer payments to correct accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
- Investigate and resolve unapplied payments or discrepancies.
- Collections & AR Management
- Monitor aging invoices daily and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
- Escalate collection issues as needed and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve disputes.
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Maintain and update AR records, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in developing and improving AR policies and procedures.
- Generate reports and provide insights on AR trends, collection efforts, and outstanding balances.
- Support the implementation and define AR workflows in the new ERP system.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with Great Plains, NetSuite, or Sage is preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
