Connexure is hiring a Software Development Manager as a full-time job in Atlanta, GA.
As a Software Development Manager, you will act as a player-coach, balancing hands-on development with mentoring and leading a team of software engineers. The position will report directlyto the VP of Engineering services.
Connexure, formerly known as Young Consulting was founded by David Young in 1995. Connexure started developing software for insurance carriers to help them better manage their books of business. Today, Connexure is a software company focused on servicing the entire self-funded medical benefits ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions using .NET, C#, Microservices architecture, and MS SQL
Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions while aligning with Connexure's business goals
Drive technical decision-making, adopt best practices, and ensure the scalability and maintainability of applications
Partner with product management, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless software solutions
Job Qualifications :
8 years of experience in software development, with expertise in .NET, C#, Microservices, and MS SQL
3 years of experience managing a software development team
Strong understanding of software design principles, including scalability and maintainability
Proven ability to balance hands-on technical contributions with effective team leadership
Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
