FleetForce is hiring a Vice President of Operations in Bradenton, FL.
The Vice President of Operations for a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) school is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth. This role requires a leader who can develop and implement policies, optimize operational processes, and support the delivery of high-quality training programs while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
FleetForce is one of Florida's oldest and largest CDL Truck Driving schools and opening locations all over the state. FleetForce specializes in the development and implementation of customized CDL training programs for our corporate partners across America who want to aggressively expand. FleetForce is a licensed third-party CDL Test Administrator for the State of Florida, and we offer refresher courses for those looking to brush up on their driving skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES : (not all-inclusive)
Operational Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple campuses, including student enrollment, scheduling, and instructor management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
Student Experience :
Ensure a high-quality student experience by providing excellent customer service and support.Monitor student satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.Continuously improve the curriculum and training programs to meet the evolving needs of the industry.Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of instructors, administrators, and support staff.Foster a positive, professional work environment that prioritizes employee development and retention.Strategic Planning
Work with the executive team to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives, including new locations, partnerships, and services.Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with industry stakeholders, employers, and government agencies to enhance the school’s reputation and placement rates.Represent the school at industry events and conferences.OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the education or transportation industry.Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.Must be 21 years of age or older.Ability to pass a pre-employment Background and Drug / Alcohol test.Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Strong Organization, Time Management Skills, and ability to set Priorities.Strong communication, Interpersonal skills, and Attention to Detail.Ability to work independently and as part of team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.Valid State Driver’s LicenseTobacco-free work locations.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Required to stand, walk, and sit.Able to travel to various parts of the state and events.Able to input, store and output on a (computer) keyboard and other office equipment.Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds or more.Ability to have hand-eye coordination.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.The noise level in the work environment is high due to work is conducted in an office with other employees.With 10 locations, FleetForce is the largest & fastest-growing CDL training program in Florida.
