Job Duties :
- Construct, fit and install various structures within commercial projects such as doors, windows, flooring, cabinets and other permanent fixtures.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
- Prepare project layout and determine dimensions and material required as specified on blueprints.
- Measure, shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines or power saw.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps and other temporary structures.
- Load, unload and identify building materials, machinery and tools, and distribute them to appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Work with drills, nail guns, sanders and other tools on a regular basis. Maintain and sharpen tools.
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers and rakes.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- General labor and other duties as assigned.
- May be assigned manager tasks and responsibilities on occasion outside of this scope of work in order to test aptitude.

CONSTRUCTION WORK SCHEDULE
