ABOUT THE POSITIONField Dock & Door Service Techs function as part of the Warehouse Products Service Team and are responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing warehouse docks and doors.In this role you will:
- Repair Warehouse Docks and Rollup Doors to bring each customer's facility back to operational safety standards through safety protocols, evaluating repair needs, and communicating those effectively with the customer.
- Performing New Installation on Dock and Door projects.
- Effectively communicate with all involved parties about possible downtime and job progress to include the Warehouse Products team so that they may also provide quality customer service and customer communications.
- Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision.

- Minimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment, commercial doors, and high-speed doors preferred
- Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record
- Above-average communication skills
- Ability to complete DOT medical certification if assigned DOT-rated vehicle
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of tools
- Electrical experience, including proper use of a multimeter
- General knowledge of operating various equipment
- Ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
- will be working in operating facilities and outdoors traveling to customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply.
- will be frequently working on equipment with potential hazards where appropriate safety equipment and practices are required.
- must be able to lift 50 pounds. Occasionally may be required to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds.
