Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is a full-service equipment dealer with 17 locations across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our team in the shop.Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
About the Position
This role involves diagnosing and repairing various types of heavy machinery and construction equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets operational and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair heavy machinery and construction equipment to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
- Effectively communicate with salespeople, coordinators, managers, and customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime while maintaining safe working standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of mechanical training or experience in a related field.
- Possession of a complete line of tools or ability to obtain one.
- Above-average communication skills.
- Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications.
- Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
