Heavy Equipment PM Tech Helper
Job Summary
As a heavy equipment PM technician helper, you will be responsible to assist in lubrication, service and preventive maintenance work on heavy equipment and performs minor mechanical field repairs on equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help Perform maintenance and servicing of the lube truck.
- Help Perform preventive maintenance according to assigned schedules for heavy equipment. Monitor records and track hours of service for assigned vehicles and the lube truck.
- Help Perform minor repairs on the lube truck and assigned equipment including brake adjustments and leak repairs; replace hoses, fan belts, alternators, regulators, and batteries
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to report to the shop in Wildwood.
- CDL - Class B with Hazmat endorsement Required
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, head & humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
