Electrical Maintenance Engineer : Freeport , Illinois
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of our client’s manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of production processes. While this position primarily requires independent work, collaboration within a team is also essential. The electrical Maintenance Engineer will be on call for urgent plant breakdowns. Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement equipment retrofits and upgrades
- System design and program development
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and electrical systems promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the STOP program, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance of equipment
- Test and evaluate electronic components
- Construct and install machine control panels
- Train Maintenance Technicians on electrical troubleshooting and repair
Skills & Experience :

Pay : $90,000- $120,000 / yr., based on experience and capabilities
Type : 1st Shift, Full-time, onsite (no hybrid or WFH)
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6 : 45 a.m. – 3 : 45 p.m., on call responsibilities, and occasional weekend and holiday work
