Merchandise Handler : Harvard , Illinois
Our customer in Harvard, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Merchandise Handlers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Merchandise Handler, you will be responsible for unloading merchandise, verifying shipments, operating material handling equipment, stocking and organizing products, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities of the Merchandise Handler :
- Unload merchandise from trailers, lifting cartons and checking goods against purchase orders or invoices.
- Stack and load cartons for outbound shipment, and stock shelves with incoming goods.
- Maintain and verify records of goods received or shipped to ensure proper flow of merchandise.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet handlers, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Select and pick products for shipment from computerized store order requests.
- Prepare merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap machines or other packing devices.
Merchandise Handler Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Merchandise Handler : Starting at $16.90 / hour.
Merchandise Handler Benefits :
Type : 1st Shift, Temporary
Schedule : Monday - Friday from 6 : 00am – 2 : 00pm with OT as needed.
